Cabbage Worms Trouble Resolved
Ok for those of you who are gardening and reading my blog here is what I have found to take care of the Cabbage worms (They are really caterpillars from a white butterfly) anyway I first took a tip from my mom she told me that my grandmother always washed the cabbage off with salt water so I did focusing on the center which in my case seemed to be where most of the eggs were. Then I hand picked the larva off. I purchased the BT organic product (see post below) and sprayed really good, then I installed 4 metal post around the cabbage area and attached a netting over them to keep the butterflies from laying more eggs and believe it or not in just 5 days I can see a huge difference. I am actually getting heads in the center of my cabbage. And one last thing I wanted to mention is I used the metal post with notches in them so I can move the netting up as my cabbage grows taller.
YEAH!!! HOPEFULLY NO MORE CABBAGE WORMS FO ME!!!!
